If you own a boat or other watercraft, you can get a policy to protect you when you are out on the waters taking in all that Florida offers. With so many different boats and watercraft out on the water, it is recommended to protect yourself.

Another option you have is renters’ insurance. Again, Florida does not require this for residents. However, some apartment and other property leases have recently been added to the contract. It will give you protection for your personal items.
